SOS Multan Institute of Technology, Multan (SMIT) was established in September, 2015. Currently SMIT is offering 07 vocational courses and 03 DAE technologies. SMIT is registered with TEVTA Lahore and affiliated with PBTE Lahore. The SOS Multan projects started its journey by housing the orphans, abandoned and destitute children in 1999. After the establishment of our proud SOS Children’s Village, currently housing 195 Children, the SOS Hermann Gmeiner School was established, keeping the key aim of providing a stable future to the children of SOS and the financially under privileged children of the community. The School grew in strength and quality and currently educates 1100 deserving students. The establishment of the Youth Wing followed and completed its stand alone campus in 2012, proudly housing over 40 youth boys, leading them towards higher education, employment and security.
The SOS global family, not only undertook a great feat of providing for the orphans, abandoned and destitute children, but also has always stressed on strengthening the community of the surrounding areas. This vision leads the SOS family projects to keep growing and to keep on providing new avenues of strengthening the less privileged around it.
